Chef Jonathan

Francesca's culinary team is led by Chef/Owner Jonathan Nadeau, a graduate of Connecticut Culinary Institute, Advanced Italian Culinary Arts Program. Jonathan also completed studies at ICIF in Costigliole d'Asti, Italy and interned at Marco Fadiga Bistrot in Bologna, Italy.
Jonathan's culinary creations are centered on fresh, bright local ingredients with a Mediterranean theme.

Our wine selection was carefully chosen to meet the interests of both the novice and experienced wine drinker. In addition we offer a complete beverage menu consisting of great local and imported beers and classic cocktails. We have an exceptional representation of many varietals with distinct qualities separating it from the norm.

We hold no prejudice as to whether our wines come from large, prominent vineyards or from the best-kept-secrets in remote areas of wine regions. We have sought out a few of the unheralded, small producers who create gems year after year.

Francesca’s is located on Main Street in the Collinsville section of Canton, Connecticut, a typical New England factory town, built around the Collins Company Axe Factory (1826 - 1966.) Today, it retains its late Nineteenth Century charm, with unique shops, a walking trail, antiques and a Museum. Spend a few hours or the day then join us for lunch or dinner.
